The project consists of 11 dams in the Aseer Region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They are as under: Itwad Dam; Al-Fayd Dam ; Sarat Dam; Ashran Dam; Tindaha Dam; Anam Dam; Heefah Dam; Mahda Dam; Sarabah Dam; Arar Sahamy Dam. Design of all 11 Dams and Construction Supervision of Sarabah Dam. The study and design included: Feasibility Studies; Environmental Studies; Conceptual Planning; Cost Analysis Projections; Area Surveys; Topographic Maps; Geological & Geophysical Studies; Soils Analysis; Hydrological Studies; Site Examinations / Selections; Conceptual Architecture; Preliminary Engineering; Detailed Design / Specifications; Cost Estimates. These dams are basically water conservation dams ranging in height from 10 meters to 42 meters. Based on the topography, geology and availability of material, 4 dams were designed as concrete gravity dams, 3 as rockfill dams, and 5 as earthfill dams.
