Legacy Story
1965
The Dawn of Leadership (Foundation)
The journey began at the hands of Dr. Tarek Mohammed Ali AlShawaf, with the establishment and opening of the SAUDCONSULT office in the Al-Malaz district of Riyadh. It became the first licensed engineering firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to work on strategic government projects in the road and water sectors, laying the very first foundation stone for the national engineering consultancy sector.
1970s – 1980s
Engineering National Connectivity
We drove national urban development through key contributions to the Kingdom’s road networks, Saudi Electric Company projects, and the industrial cities of Jubail and Yanbu. Our impact also extends to strategic water desalination and transport projects that remain landmarks of national progress.
1990s
Comprehensive Services and Human Impact
We expanded our expertise into vital sectors such as health, education, and industry, providing integrated engineering services from concept to project management and execution. Our portfolio features landmark projects, including major university hospitals, educational complexes, the Riyadh Courts Complex, and the King Fahd National Library.
2000s - 2015
Technological Transformation & Talent Empowerment
During this phase, we modernized our infrastructure, transitioning from AutoCAD to BIM as a national pioneer We simultaneously focused on human capital by launching a strategic initiative to recruit Saudi female engineers and establishing university internship programs to train the next generation of national talent
2015 - 2025
Vision Partnership & Transitional Projects
In alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, we integrated AI into our engineering services to boost accuracy and efficiency, we established the Academy to attract and recruit Saudi talent and to share more than 60 years of expertise with our professionals and national talent. As a pivotal technical partner, we are actively shaping the future of Saudi Arabia’s mega projects, including Diriyah, KAFD, and the development of the nation’s new urban centers.
